🌿 About VB-G RAM G
Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) is a rural employment and livelihood development initiative aimed at strengthening employment security, rural infrastructure, livelihood opportunities and sustainable development in rural areas.
Under the VB-G RAM G Act, 2025, eligible rural households are provided a legal guarantee of up to 125 days of wage employment in every financial year, subject to the provisions and guidelines of the Act.
⭐ Key Features of the Scheme
Eligible rural households are entitled to a legal guarantee of up to 125 days of wage employment during each financial year, subject to the applicable provisions.
The scheme promotes the creation and maintenance of essential rural infrastructure and community assets.
Priority is given to activities related to water conservation, water management and improvement of water availability.
The scheme supports the creation of livelihood-related infrastructure to strengthen income opportunities for rural households.
Suitable activities are encouraged to strengthen rural communities against climate-related and disaster-related risks.
Digital systems are used for planning, implementation, monitoring and improving transparency and accountability.

🔎 Transparency & Public Participation
The scheme promotes public participation and transparency through Gram Sabhas and other participatory mechanisms. Development activities can be planned by considering the needs and priorities of local communities.
Proper maintenance of records relating to employment, works, assets and financial transactions is an important part of effective implementation and monitoring.
🏘️ VB-G RAM G in Chalavara Grama Panchayat
The activities under VB-G RAM G in Chalavara Grama Panchayat shall be implemented in accordance with the applicable Acts, Government Orders, guidelines and prescribed procedures.
Based on the development requirements of the Panchayat, activities relating to water conservation, rural infrastructure, livelihood infrastructure, environmental protection and other eligible areas may be planned and implemented in accordance with the applicable provisions.

Eligibility, procedure for demanding employment, wage rates, nature of permissible works, registration, grievance redressal and other matters relating to VB-G RAM G shall be governed by the latest Government Orders, statutory provisions and guidelines issued by the competent authorities from time to time.
